The name of the Mars Bar, which was originally named after Frank C. Mars, who founded Mars, Inc., changed in 2000 to the Snickers Almond Bar. Our guess is that they changed the name to make an association with America's most popular candy bar.

It's the same candy bar with roasted almonds, nougat, caramel and milk chocolate.
